We were promised one global village. We got a thousand that can't reach each other.
Verified sellers, real storefronts, safe checkout, and the food, fabric and goods that used to hide in group chats.

The taste of home. The fabric for a wedding. The one spice a recipe actually needs. None of it should be this hard to find.
For a lot of people in the UK, the products that carry their culture live in the corners of the internet. A WhatsApp group. A seller's Instagram or TikTok. A Facebook Marketplace post. A stall you only hear about because a friend mentioned it. The trade is real, and it is everywhere. It is also scattered, and most of the people who would happily buy never find it.
Sellexa brings it into one place you can trust. One front door to the things that used to be locked inside closed networks.
Every city has communities that make and sell wonderful things. Every city also has people, from all sorts of backgrounds, who would buy them if they knew where to look. The two rarely meet.
Sellers are busy building their trade inside networks they already know. Buyers have nowhere reliable to start.
That is the whole reason Sellexa exists. We are the bridge between them.
You shop in proper storefronts that stay put. No chasing a post before it disappears down a feed. Every seller is verified, so you always know who you are buying from.
Filter by culture, city, and category to find exactly what you want, from a seller near you or one across the country. Pay knowing you are covered if something goes wrong.
Clothing for the occasions that matter, from an everyday outfit to the aso-ebi for a wedding. Groceries and the spices a dish actually calls for. Health and beauty, jewellery, homeware, music, books.
If it carries a culture, it has a place here.
“It had a great taste, and it came just in time.”

“Tastes really nice. My white colleague loves it.”
“I haven’t cooked in days but immediately I got the fish , I literally went back into the kitchen straight. Very neat and well seasoned”
Maybe you grew up with it and have missed it for years. Maybe you tried it once at a friend's table and want it in your own kitchen. Either way, you are welcome here. You do not need to know the right person or speak the language. Find what you are after, see exactly who you are buying from, and buy with confidence, whether it is a weekly staple or everything you need for a celebration.
You have spent years building something worth buying. Sellexa gives it a real storefront, a verified name, and reach beyond the people who already know you. You get paid safely, without chasing a bank transfer. And you get there without turning yourself into a full-time marketer.
Click "Start Selling" and submit your business details. It takes less time than posting on Instagram.
Upload photos, set your prices, describe what you sell. Your products go live on your own branded storefront, a real business page that stays put.
Earn your verification badge, build trust with ratings and reviews, and reach buyers across the UK who are looking for what you make.
When this trade moves out of the group chats and onto real rails, everyone gains. A seller finally grows past her own circle. A buyer finally finds the thing she thought she would have to travel home for. Trade that used to happen in the margins becomes visible, safe, and counted in the wider economy.
Culture was never a niche. It is how millions of people in the UK cook, dress, and celebrate. It deserves commerce built for it.
We are not everywhere yet. We are growing city by city, cluster by cluster, and we would love for you to be part of the next one.
Your money, your data, and your parcels are handled by names you already know. Sellexa is a UK-registered company (Companies House NI735255).
Yes. Every seller is verified before they can list, so you always know who you are buying from. Your payment is handled by Stripe and held securely until your order is delivered. Buyer Protection means that if an order does not arrive, arrives damaged, or does not match the listing, and the seller cannot put it right, Sellexa refunds you.
Message the seller from your order page first. They have 48 hours to respond. If they do not, or their reply does not fix it, email support@sellexa.app, or reach Sellexa on WhatsApp or by phone at +44 7858 126098, and Sellexa will step in. On top of this, UK consumer law gives you a 14-day cooling-off period to change your mind and a 30-day right to reject anything faulty or not as described.
You see the delivery cost before you pay, and you pick the speed you want. For most items Sellexa compares UK couriers and quotes the live rate for your parcel and your address, so it is the real cost rather than a rough estimate. A few sellers set their own flat delivery fee instead, and some cover delivery themselves, in which case it simply shows as free. Tracking appears on your order page as soon as it is available.
In Belfast, yes, on items marked for same-day delivery. A rider collects from the seller and brings it straight to you, usually within a few hours, and you can follow it on your order page. Each seller sets a daily closing time, shown at checkout, and same-day stops being offered once it passes. Everywhere else in the UK, orders go by courier at the speed you choose at checkout.
Sellexa is UK-wide. You can buy from a verified seller near you or one on the other side of the country, and filter by culture, city, and category to find exactly what you want. We are growing city by city, with a strong early cluster in Northern Ireland.
Before anyone can list, they register a seller account with Sellexa: business name, storefront handle, the UK address they ship from, a contact number, and acceptance of our seller terms. Sellers must be 18 or over, which we check against their date of birth and again through Stripe. Taking payment additionally requires Stripe Connect onboarding, which confirms identity and bank details. Sellers are responsible for holding any licence their products require. The verified badge on a storefront means the account has been through that registration and is in good standing with us.
Sellexa charges 10% commission on the item subtotal of each sale. Shipping and tax are never part of that, and there are no listing fees and no monthly subscription. Two other amounts can affect a payout: Stripe's card-processing fee, which is passed through to you at 1.5% of the buyer's payment plus a single 20p per checkout, and the cost of a shipping label where Sellexa buys it on your behalf. How shipping lands depends on the delivery option you pick, so the full breakdown is set out on our fees and payouts page.
Click Start Selling and submit your business details. Once you are registered you can list products with photos, prices, and descriptions on your own branded storefront, and where it suits what you sell you can price by portion or by amount rather than by the single item. Completing Stripe Connect onboarding is the step that lets you take payment. It takes less time than setting up a social media shop, and you do not need to be a full-time marketer to grow.
An order becomes payable once it is marked delivered, either confirmed by the buyer or auto-confirmed after the delivery window passes, which protects both sides. Your share is then transferred to your connected Stripe account, and your bank typically takes a further one to three working days to credit it. Payout timing and the settlement rules in full are on our fees and payouts page.
Whether you are here to find something or to sell it, there is a place for you on Sellexa.
