A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Sellexa sets four kinds:
Sellexa Limited is the controller for the information these cookies collect. Our company number and address are at the foot of this page.
The first time you visit, a banner asks you to choose. "Accept all" and "Reject non-essential" are shown together with equal weight and do exactly what they say. Until you choose, no analytics or marketing cookie is set. You can change your mind at any time (see section 8).
This policy is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the ICO's cookie guidance. PECR lets us set essential cookies without consent provided we tell you what they do, and requires your consent for everything else.
These keep you signed in and let you pay securely. They are set by Sellexa or by Stripe, our payment provider, and only when you use those features.

In plain words: when you view or click a product, we note that this browser did so. The cookie holds a random code only. It does not contain your name, email or anything else about you, and we do not share it with anyone. If you are signed in, the same record is linked to your account so suggestions follow you between devices. We keep these browsing and click records for 12 months and then delete them automatically.
To remove it, clear cookies for sellexa.app in your browser (links in section 8). Sellexa will set a fresh code the next time you open a product, unconnected to the old one.
These help us see which pages and products people use, so we can improve the site. They are set only after you choose "Accept all" or switch Analytics on under "Customise".

We also use Plausible, a privacy-first analytics service. Plausible sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so it runs without consent and cannot be switched off in the banner. It gives us page counts, not profiles.
These tell us whether our adverts bring people to Sellexa. They are set only after you choose "Accept all" or switch Marketing on under "Customise".

Besides cookies, the site keeps a few things in your browser's local storage. None of it leaves your browser on its own, none of it identifies you to anyone else, and all of it is either essential to the site working or there to remember something you did. None of it needs consent. Each entry stays until you clear site data for sellexa.app.

The cookies above that are not set by Sellexa are set by these companies, each under its own policy:
Choose "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. It reopens the choices above and saves your new answer straight away. Switching a category off stops Sellexa sending those services anything more from that moment, and their scripts stop fully on your next page load. Cookies already in your browser stay until they expire or you clear them.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
Blocking the sign-in cookie will sign you out and stop you signing in. Blocking the Stripe cookies will stop you completing checkout. Your banner choice is saved in your browser's local storage (an entry called ui-store), not in a cookie. Clearing site data for sellexa.app removes it and the banner will ask again.
